Obituary of Margaret Gonzales

Margaret “Mel” Gonzales, 83, formerly of Northville and Livonia, Michigan, more recently of Sparta, NJ, passed away on September 25, 2015 in Morristown, NJ. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Mel resided in Michigan for 81 years, before moving to New Jersey a year-and-a-half ago. She graduated from Cass Technical High School and Schoolcraft Community College, both in Michigan. Mel worked as a Manager of Operator Services for Michigan Bell and AT&T for 37 years, until she retired in 1988. She was a member of the Northville Women’s Club, and Uptick Investment Club. Mel is survived by her devoted daughter, Margaret D. Gonzales of Sparta; and her cherished grandchildren, Christopher McEneaney and his wife, Andrea , of Altamonte Springs, FL, and Aidan McEneaney of Philadelphia. She is also survived by her beloved siblings, Kathleen DiLoreto of South Pines, North Carolina, and Gerald Carlan, and his wife Barbara, of Livonia, Michigan; as well as her adored nieces and nephews, Dana Boguszewski and her husband, Brad, and their sons Grant and Dylan; Linda Scheske Allyn of Northville, MI and Karen Scheske Holmes of Seattle, WA. Family and friends are welcome to visit the family on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 4-7pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, NJ. Funeral Service and Interment will be private.
