Obituary of Joseph Patrick DeLorenzo

Please share a memory of Joseph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Joseph Patrick "Joe" DeLorenzo, 82, of Morris Plains, NJ passed away at Villa Marie Claire in Saddle River, NJ.

Born in Newark, Joe resided in Morris Plains for the past 57 years.

Joe graduated from East Orange High School. He retired from the Printing industry in 2004.

Joe was a very active, passionate parishioner of St. Virgil's Church in Morris Plains.

Joe took pride in not only his appearance (“I’m always looking suave right?!”) but in his faith, his friendships, and especially his family. He found comfort when around his grandchildren and always collected as many “hugs for Pop” as he could.

Joe is survived by his devoted children, Anthony DeLorenzo and his wife, Terry, Joseph DeLorenzo, AnneMarie Keegan, and her husband, Tom, and Mary Vanecek, and her husband, Bill. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Ashley, Sean, Owen, Timmy, Adrianna, J, Dean, Connor and Olivia; his adored great-grandchildren, Savannah, Arya, Bradley, and Aiden; as well as many nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dianna Rose DeLorenzo.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 2-5pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Virgil's Church, Morris Plains. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown.
