Obituary of Daniele Mario Levato

Daniele M. Levato (Danny), 47, of Morristown, New Jersey, passed away on January 3rd, 2024 after an arduous battle with cancer. He was born on September 13, 1976 to Giuseppe & Giovanna Levato in Morristown, NJ. After graduating from Morristown High School in 1994, Danny attended Rutger’s University where he studied Criminal Justice and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Danny was an entrepreneur and successful business man. As a visionary, Danny, with the support of his brothers, carried on his family business, Levato & Sons, and then built his real estate ventures: Ambassador Properties and GDL Group. Danny was the esteemed Chairman and President of the Columbian Club and a member of the Morristown Club.

Danny is the husband of Terri Levato. In their time together, they forged the closest of bonds, creating a beautiful family, their daughters Giovanna Daniela, Guilianna Gladys, and son Giuseppe Nicolas.

Danny has always been a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the best life he had to offer. His family and friends meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. Danny was infinitely proud of his children and his strong and supportive wife, Terri. Danny has always been present for friends and family, especially in times of need.

Danny was predeceased by his Father, Giuseppe, his in-laws, Nicolas and Gladys Rivero, his Nonni Giovanni & Mariantonia Levato and Simone and Adelina Gesualdo, daughter Baby Faith, and cousin Vincenzo Pistoia.

Daniele is survived by his mother, Giovanna Levato, his spouse Terri, his son Giuseppe Nicholas, daughters Giovanna and Giulianna, his siblings Giovanni Levato, Antonietta L. Milelli and spouse Mario, Simone Levato and spouse Rosanne, brother-in-law Juan Rivero and spouse Tania, his nephew Giuseppe Levato, and Goddaughter Giovanna Levato, and nieces Adrianna Levato, Rosemarie and Marina Milelli, Anicia, Gabriella and Stephanie Rivero and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.

The family requests that all flowers and notes be sent to Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home in Madison, NJ. The wake will be at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home on Monday January 8th from 4pm-8pm at 106 Main Street in Madison, NJ. (*PLEASE NOTE: PARKING LOT & ENTRANCE TO FUNERAL HOME IS IN THE REAR BY THE FOUNTAIN. PARKING IS ALSO AVAILABLE ON GREENWOOD AVENUE.*) The funeral service will be held at Assumption Church in Morristown on Tuesday January 9th at 10am will also be live streamed for his loving family in Italy that cannot be physically present.
