Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Grant

Mary Grant, 92, of Morris Plains, passed away at the Regency Grande Nursing Center. Born and raised in Sreenty, County Monaghan, Ireland, Mary resided in Morris Plains for the past 47 years. Mary was a part-time housekeeper, laundromat employee, and caregiver/homemaker. She was also a parishioner of St. Virgil's Church, Morris Plains. Mary is survived by her devoted children, Mary Hanley, and her husband, Steve, of Hopatcong, Christopher Grant, Jr., of Morris Plains, and Noreen Gaudioso, and her husband, Christian, of Randolph. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Dylan and Alyssa Gaudioso; her beloved siblings, Francis ("Sonny") McConnon, Peter McConnon, and Margaret McConnon; as well as many adored nieces and nephews in Ireland. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Mary McConnon; her husband, Christopher (1988); and her siblings, Vera Hewitt, Josie Hughes, Kathleen Byrne, and Sheila Greenan. The Grant family is concerned about the well-being of those they love and care about. We ask that you please keep Mary's family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Mary was laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains.
